Therapy for Depression

The ups and downs you experience in life are inevitable. But when the lows begin to outweigh the highs, it may be a sign that something deeper needs attention.

Are you feeling hopeless, isolated, or just not like yourself? Depression affects people of all ages, races, and genders, and can show up in many forms—feeling heavy, unmotivated, emotionally numb, or overwhelmed. It can impact how you feel, speak, and connect with others in all areas of life. In more severe cases, it can lead to thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Everyone deserves to experience meaning, connection, and joy—but when you're in the midst of depression, it can feel like those things are out of reach.

Through therapy, and particularly using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we can explore the parts of you that feel burdened by sadness, self-criticism, or hopelessness. IFS allows us to approach these parts with compassion rather than judgment, helping you understand why they’re showing up and what they might need to feel relief. When these inner parts feel heard and supported, space opens for your core Self—the calm, capable, and connected part of you—to lead with more clarity and strength.

If you’re struggling with depression, please know you don’t have to face it alone. There is help, hope, and a path forward.
